Talk to Gynecologist on Pregnancy TSH Test Assessment

Kindly check the following report and let me know if there's anything to be worried about. She's 6 weeks pregnant.

as normal value of tsh is 0.4 to 4 and it is 4.5 mean high and you have hypothyroidism and there is risk of miscarriage so plz consult your gynacologist

This TSH value is bit high for the pregnant females which means her thyroid gland is not making enough hormone to meet the mother and baby requirements and it’s an essential hormone to body functions. My advice is that you should repeat the test panel including TSH, T4, Anti TPO antibodies and send the result to me .And it should be done urgent. If the results are not normal she might need to start the thyroxine hormone tablets for the pregnancy protection. Thanks
