Talk to Gynecologist on Pcos-u/s To Follicle Size

i have pcos since 2016, and I’ve been taking piozer and glucophage for the prolonged cycles to be regular which did help, now I’ve gotten married and trying for a baby so i had this u/s yesterday on 12th day of my cycle to monitor the follicle size, the ultrasonologist told me that there are no eggs. In all these years my cycles were fine sometimes they’d get a little late but mostly they came on time, i also notice cervical mucus every month which they say indicates ovulation and I’m still noticing that currently, however if the eggs aren’t there than what is causing the cervical mucus? No doctor ever discusses these things they just shut me off whenever i try to ask questions and tell me to just take medicines like crazy!!! Also can i take inositol as a supplement to help promote ovulation cuz here the doctors never give supplements but only medicines! Pls help and answer my questions I’m beyond frustrated and tired.
