Ovarian Cyst

Question

My daughter 16 years of age missed her periods last month Ultrasound showed cyst in right ovary measuring 5.3Ã—3.2Ã—4.6cms with volume of 41.7 cm3 and clear internal echoes. Doc prescribed Duphaston 10mg for 10 days and novidat 250mg for 7 days. Her weight is about 42 kgs. Please let me know medications are fine and how serious is this cyst. Doc said it is fairly common nowadays.
