Asking for Self, Female, 34 years old, Karachi
I have married to four years and have been trying to get pregnant for the last one and a half year but no luck. My reports, TVS all clear but today got the report of my husband semen analysis which stated Oligospermia with total sperm count 07 million/ml with rapid linear 00%, slow progressive 10% and sluggish 20% while 70% dead. Can somebody please explain this to me. what are the chances of getting pregnant naturally with such low count? whom we should consult for this? is this treatable with medicines?
Assalamoalaikum.

I suggest your husband sees an andrologist and consider sperm banking.
Unfortunately your husband report is pathological you may need to send him to urologist and infertility center, spontaneous conception is a problem further workup is needed.

We have already consulted to a urologist and he prescribed some medicines. But I want to know what are the chances of successful natural pregnancy after treatment? Also, my husband was taking some medications for stomach related issues (acid reflux) can such medicines affect the sperm count?
