I want to know which level of prolactin can interfere with periods? Last year in april i was 5,6weeks pregnant i had a d&C , i had mild elevation in prolactin level 29. I took brotin for 3 week n stopped using it bcz of the side effects constant nausea but i was having my periods .after few months i started taking taking yaz ,i took it for 7,8months, stopped it on 24th march ..i had withdrawal bleeding after few days ,and than for one day after first withdrawal bleeding .. after 3 weeks i didnt had my regular periods (due to hormonal imbalance obviously ,)i did some tests,prolactin,bchg,tsh,testorterone cbc , ultrasound i dnt hv pcod.everything was fine apart from prolactin it was 47.87.what can be the reasons of prolactin..? Than i was suggested to start brotin and primolut n to induce periods On the 5th day of primolut i i was nauseous, after2 hrs of first dose of 5th day i vomited, after 40-50mins of 2nd dose i vomited so bcz of this interruption i continued primolut n for

Hello thanks for contacting Marham
I suggest you stop taking all medicine and after one week get back to me with report of ultrasound pelvis
Also tell me were these medicine prescribed or you self medicated

Mam i took the primolut for further 2days ,day before yesterday was my last primolut dose day ..
Right now i am just taking brotin .

No ,as i couldn't go to any drs now adays , 2 drs in marham suggested me to take primolut for 5days for withdrawal bleeding and brotin ,to decrease prolactin so the in next cycle i can have natural periods. Yes i did a pelvic ultrasound 6days ago

Secondly there is not chance of pregnancy as my husband is not here from march13 ... i did bhcg on 2nd april and than 23 april it was <2.30 ..no history of pcos
