Question from Gynecologist
Hi, I got my HSG done last year. The report says that both the fallopian tubes are patent. I visited many doctors since then and all considered the report valid (none checked the film). However, on the basis of the report, my doctor has scheduled an IUI round this month. Recently, I met a doctor who checked the film and said that it seems that the tubes are not patent and laparoscopy should be done to check for it. Now the problem is if the tubes are not patent, there is no point of even getting an IUI. I am attaching the report as well as the films. Want an opinion on either I should start taking my ovulation induction pills and continue with the IUI procedure or not take my ovulation induction medicines and wait to see my doctor (the appointment is scheduled next week).
on both side spilled dye can b seen... its normal hsg. still if you want to take second opinion then report can be checked by sime radiologist... yahan tak bat laparoscopy ki hai it us best to diagnose so many problems responsible for not conceived till now.. including tubal patency
spill is seen on both sides.
U tubes r patent.
Eens to have some old infection causing ur tubes beaded in appearance
IUI will fail
No need of laprascopy now for tubal patency
