Actually 3 weeks before my periods started so with periods clots also come after one week when its not finished i visited my family doctor and she gave me medician name tranexamic acid 500 mg i completed the course but still bleeding so now she is purtting me on birth control medician name Alesse 100mcg ... i am a thyroid patient too and anxiety patient to taking citalopram 20 mg for anti depressent . My t3 and t4 is normal but tsh was 17 which range should be 1.4 so mu doctor thought thyroid could be reason so she increased my dose i got also pelvic ultrasound for cyst so thats ok so i want to know that birth control medicine , s side effect please ?

Have proper consultation with endocrinologist. And hopefully control of thyroid will also control this problem .. adjust your thyroxine dose 1st .thanks .
