Asking For Wife, Female 26, Lahore

AoA respected doctors, my wife is more than 30 weeks pregnant MashaAllah, i want to ask about painless vaginal delivery. Under what circumstances, doctors decide to have vaginal normal delivery, i have heard its safe. My question is this, if this is safe, then why every body not go for painless delivery? What are the hidden circumstances in this. Its the decision of doctor or decision of patient? Please any one can explain, so i can resolve my queries and confusion. Thanks in advance doctors,

Note: Much appreciated with this effort of Marham team!! Thanks doctor and Marham for this platform.

Epidural anesthesia is given for painless delivery.
Needs the availability of epidural anesthesia in that setup.
Also rule out contraindications in the patient

its epidural anasthesia that is painless..depends on patient condition that vaginal delievery is possible or not .no doubt vaginal delievery is safe but sometimes there are certain indication in which we cant take risk of vaginal delivery e.g prolonged obstructed labour, placenta previa abruption and previous ceasereans.for furthur details book an appointment.
