Yes.. There are certain prerequisites for this.. Ideally it should be done soon after periods or after abstinence of 3 days..

Thanks HSG is done to see tubal patency nd is done immediately after period nd no need for intercourse
it should be done to confirm the pregnancy and after 15days of overdue
No any precautions for this particular test
it is test for tubal status . done after periods. better after 3 to 4 days. no issue regarding intercourse.
