Talk to Gynecologist on Cervical Cerclage Removal Procedure

person-avatar

Asking For Self, Female, 29 Years old, islamabad

Aoa, I got cervical cerclage in 13th week of my pregnancy. The procedure was done while I was given general anaesthesia. Currently I am 35 weeks pregnant with a single baby and stitch removal is planned after 10 days. Just wanted to ask what is the procedure of removal. Would I be given local or general anesthesie again during the procedure or is it simpler than the insertion of stitch wala procedure??
