Talk to General Practitioner on Temperature, Pain In The Area Between Chest & Stomach
Asking for Mother, Female, 55 years old, Karachi
My mother has been having a temperature 99-100 since almost 8 weeks now. No other flu or fever symptoms. She has pain between her chest and stomach area which tends to relax with eating something otherwise continues to cause pain. She is BP patient and has gone through with the following tests. She had 3 different types of Antibiotics courses And still the temperature hasn’t stopped. She feels exhausted. Please tell what to do?

get her US whole abdomen done to rule out underline cause.
get her chest xray too.
meanwhile she needs to take simple diet,plenty of water and walk for 20min after eating meal.
The pain you are describing is because of dyspepsia(acidity) or peptic ulcer disease which can be due to medication for hypertension. start medication for acidity. Gestofill is a good herbal syrup for acidity. Her reports are normal. Also please tell which antibiotics she took and for how many days. Need to consult for detailed check up.

Ideally I would like to take a more detailed history, mainly contact history and detailed medical history along with the treatment taken already.
Also, I would like to see few more investigations like ESR, Serum Lipase, Chest Xray and Ultrasound.
