Talk to General Practitioner on Micturition Syncope - Shall I Visit Cardiologist Or General Physician?
Asking For Mother, Female 70, Hyderabad
My mother fainted twice last week while passing Urine and it happened again today, when I checked the blood pressure today it was very low 44/71 so I gave her salted water and then it incresed to 67/92. I think this is Micturition syncope. My mother is diabetic patient too and since last few days her blood sugar level is normal after the Dr. changed medication. Shall I take her to Cardiologist or General Physician for the treatment of Micturition syncope?

is she on any antihypertensive medication (bp).what medication is she taking for diabetes, her blood sugar levels? controlled? low or normal, she needs full investigation likecbc, kidney function tests etc .people with long term diabetes usually develop kidney failure slowly
Her Bp is constantly low she needs a cardiologist
