Asking for Other, Male, 36 years old, Lahore

Aoa ! My husband's covid pcr came negative yesterday after 10 days of isolation. He has no symptoms other than extreme weakness & muscular cramps. Pls suggest if he still needs to be at a distance with us? Can he still spread virus?

General Practitioner in Sialkot - Dr. Rana Muhammad Zeeshan

So 10 days after the start of symptoms and last 3 days without symptoms is the criteria for isolation. likewise if you follow testing method, in the wake of symptoms, complete 14 days and repeat test.

Prevention is better than cure. Moreover there might be children in home, old age members or pregnant ladies. So isolation is better till the covid antibodies test done after 14 days of recovery. He needs immune boosting and throat/stomach friendly diet means in liquid or chopped form so that easily digeasteable.. Also maintain giving adequate amount of lukewarm water, broths, Soups, tea(ginger, cinnamon, Cardamom sticks and lemon grass very well cooked together), nebulize when necessary, give him foot soak twice aday, need any other suggestion feel free to contact

14 day isolation must be observed and give him plenty of water to drink and dry fruits to eat. If he doesn’t have diabetes then give him fresh juices and fruits. If he has diabetes donot give him juices but fruits can be given making a kond of fruit chat in a normal sized bowl of all the fruits and dividing the bowl in five equal parts . Ask him to eat one part at a time and finish it in the whole day.

These symptoms are due to COVID. Give him 2 panadol in case of headache. Only good diet can make him recover soon from the symptoms. May Allah bless him with good health .

Yes he can still spread
The virus

General Practitioner in Bajaur Agency - Dr. Muhammad Kamil

You must extend his isolation upto 15 days. his PCR is negative and be false negative, but it's good that he is asymptomatic.
