Talk to General Practitioner on Black Stool
Asking For Mother, Female 68, Peshawar
My mother stool was black and HB level dropped to 4.5 and after that we gave him 3 packs of Red blood cells.( She been on Inhalers Ventoline and Sertide ) ...Her Lft reports and Hepatitus B and C are also Normal except Alkaline phosphatase which gets in range of 180 to 185 ...after giving her 3packs of infusion docotr gave her Panazole tablets ( twice daily for 1 month followed by 1 daily for 3 months )...yeah February 2020 ki baat hai....Now few days back on 31st July she again had a black stoll and then on next day she had a blood vomit on 1st August 2020...Docotr suggested Histoacryltic injection in OGD ? Need guidance ..All her Tests are OK including LFT,RFT, except PT and INR for which vitamin K has been given ..please advise ..

needs egd to see if she has an ulcer or varices from which she is bleeding and need to see a gastroenterology guy
She needs to consult Gastrointestinal asp for Endoscopy
there can be varices for which endoscopy and colonoscopy is required. you need to visit gastroenterologist for further guidance.thanks

Sounds like an ulcer or a varices. She will need an ultrasound and upper GI endoscopy to confirm. Visit a gastroenterologist asap
She needs upper GI endoscopy as early as possible
