do you have tingling and numbness as well? does it hurt when you tap on your wrist ? adjust your table and chair height, your wrist should not be too much prolonged flexed or extended while using it. May be you should check for carpal tunnel syndrome ,

This is definitely overuse of your wrist and index finger and carpel tunnel syndrome is a strong possibility.
Could you use your left hand and just give your right hand a break from the use of mouse for a month or so while taking full dose of anti inflammatory medicines like proven 500 mg BD. for 4 weeks.
Use wrist support day time so that your wrist is not unnecessarily overflowed during routine household activities.
Use a cockspur splint at night to keep wrist extended.
And if nothing helps, nerve conduction studies for median nerve compression should be done.
There is always injection treatment to help.
Try conservative measures first .

thanks for reply. ever since getting this issue, I've been using my left hand and now can feel some strain on there too slowly building up which mainly occurs with mouse usage despite it being same height.

already got prescribed synflex and trizanidine for 2+ weeks with supplements, I think this may be related to my neck pain since 2018?

Neck elbow wrist are all victimised by poor posture during computer use.
For neck, the screen got to be high at eye level.
Correct positioning and posture at all times is the key.
A physiotherapist can guide you well in neck posture nd wrist positioning.I can recommend a physiotherapist for you.
