Talk to General Physician on Speech Problem

Can stammering be cured if it is not by birth? I consulted doctor for this he said , make practise of tongue .. blow balloons .talk to your self in front of mirror , i dont understand where problems lie , either my confidence problem or something wrong with tongue . somethings i dont perform some words . Its take huge pressure to perform it but other time i spell such word with ease , and i talk alone quite easily even i recite without any problem . But with people i face problem even in my home .. kindly do something as it affects my personality , i am bold but this problem can't take me to my destination

I know of very successful and confident persons who have this problem
So first step is to stop worrying about it
Even if it is not cured - you are as good a person as any
second - try to treat it but not too hardly -- most important is remain relaxed
as any tension generated while attempting to cure it is counter productive
thirdly it is a long process --- dont try to judge your self after a month effort
it will take an year at least
You can consult a psychologist who will help you
