Asking for Self, Male, 29 years old, Karachi
I quit smoking a month ago. I was addict of daily 2 packs 30-40 cigerates a day. I am still fighting with withdrawl symptoms. My question is how long these craving and other symptoms will remain?
Uptill when you want to feel them
2 years
Its depend on your will power and your thinking pattern.
If you stop thinking and get psycho therapy than you able to stop those symptoms easily and sooner
use chewing gums whenever you feel this
this is quit long time

CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST
u can take nicotine gums for a while to stop the craving.it might take a while
The minute you shift focus away from withdrawal symptoms, they will stop. Increase your water intake, try new flavors, introduce your pallet to different things, fragrances, and try avoiding closed spaces where ppl are smoking. Take long deep breaths in fresh air...
Nicotine levels go down fast so its not in ur system now... cigarette is a comfort thing for ppl, they can see it, feel it, smell and taste it, and then touch on lips too so unconsciously we tend to make it an anchor. So if you gibe urself a variety of things that can fulfill what the cigarette used to do, its easier to forget.
