The average menstrual cycle is about 25-30 days, but it can be as short as 21 days or longer than 35 . It varies from person to person. The number of days in your cycle may also vary from month to month. The normal bleeding time in each cycle may range between 2-7 days.

Respected Patient. It seems not a serious problem according to your short history.
What is your BMI. BODY MASS INDEX.
Your height.
Most periods last 3 to 5 days, but anywhere from 2 to 7 days is normal. Menstrual cycles may happen around the same date every month or they may be irregular. A menstrual period is considered late if it hasn't started 5 or more days after the day you expected it to start.
To set a monthly menstrual cycle, your body needs a normal range of fat levels. Too much or too little body fat can lead to delayed periods.

Being overweight can also affect your menstrual cycle. If you're overweight, your body may produce an excess amount of oestrogen, one of the hormones that regulate the reproductive system in women. Excess oestrogen can affect
Menstrual cycle.
Obesity can cause a woman to have delay in her period, being overweight can also affect a woman's menstrual cycle. ... I recommend you CBC blood test and an ultrasound to look at the ovaries to make sure that no underlying medical conditions are causing delayed periods.
