Talk to General Physician on Low Urine Output And Dark Color

person-avatar

Asking for Self, Male, 20 years old, Lahore

From last several months, I went through a change in my urine. Before this problem, urine output and urine color both were normal. Suddenly, my urine output decreased. Its color also changed to yellow and sometimes very dark yellow. I was already drinking enough water but increased my water intake. But urine remain same. Urine analysis report showed slight infection, took antibiotics and citro soda (as prescribed by doctor) but nothing changed. I drink a lot of water but it seems that water is not being absorbed properly. Normally I do not feel any pain while urinating but yes I feel a little bit in penis whenever the urine is very dark. What do you doctors think the actual problem is?

hi
several month history is very unlikley consistent with infection.Clearly you need to drink more water dark urine usually indicate concentrated urine.Ensure intake in excess of 3 l .i hope urine dip is not suggestive of any microscopic blood loss indicative of upper urinary tract issues. i dont thin urine osmolality is going to add anything to diagnosis.

i use to drink almost 3l water everyday from the start of this problem but I think this is not the solution for me because whenever I reduce the water intake due to any reason, it again gets dark yellow. What medical tests do you suggest?
