few months ago probably March 2017 I was visiting my grandmother and a thorn got under my skin (just above my ankle). it was quite irritating so I thought of removing it, I used a safety pin to get it out but it got poked in my skin deeper than what I intended...I removed it by a nail cutter, zakham ban gaya tha, I wanted to ask k ager nail cutter ya safety pin ka contact flesh (not exactly flesh, skin ki ik do layer nechay) say hojaye tou hepatitis ya AIDS tou nahi hoga....the nail cutter was clean (it had no blood and zakhan itna gehra nahi tha)
It is highly unlikely for this to cause Hepatitis B or C if the instruments you used were not exposed to blood or body secretions of a person infected with B or C. Same holds true for HIV. Hepatitis C virus is especially notorious for being able to survive a long time even in dried blood scabs on surfaces and instruments.
You can very easily remove any suspicions and doubts by getting screening tests (low sensitivity) or ELISA tests (high sensitivity) for Hepatitis B, C & HIV.
Having said that, it is extremely dangerous to poke yourself with unsterilized sharp objects. You could have gotten tetanus which is fatal in most cases if it occurs. If you ever get injured where there is scratch on the skin and even small bleeding occurs, and you haven't been vaccinated against tetanus or haven't had a booster in 5 years or haven't had anti tetanus in last 3 months, get a shot of anti tetanus within 48 hours.
Besides such serious problem you can introduce a host of other infections into your body with unsterile instruments, not to mention the host of structural damages you can cause with minor slips.
God has created doctors & hospitals for these purposes so use them when needed.

Hepatitis B or C or HIV are transmitted through body secretions when any infected thing comes in contact with your body secretions. Get a shot of Tetanus Vaccine (everyone should have it after every 5 years to keep it effective). Further get vaccinated against Hepatitis B as well. You should know that Hepatitis B is preventable through vaccination but not curable while Hepatitis C is not preventable (no vaccination yet introduced) but its curable somehow.
In addition, precautionary, don't use/share anyone's hair comb, nail cutters/clippers, tooth brush to minimize the chances of infection transmission.

I got a tetanus shot about 9 years ago, currently I am traveling and am out of city is it ok if I get the injection after a week?
