Asking For Self, Male 68, Islamabad
When stomach is empty, gas starts generating (around 5pm) and then starts releasing till all night. Belching, bloating, burping, farting bad smell. BP readings 140/80 to 160/80. frequent urination. Pressure like pain near heart. Platelets count 139,000. RBC also low. BUN value is 6. ESR value is 20. Kindly advise any test for diagnosis and treatment. JazakAllah

u need regular antihypertensive medicine.
start with tap amodip 10 mg 1/2 daily
cap risek 40mg 1 daily in morning
tab motilium 1 before meal 3 times
tab flagyl 400mg 1+1+1 for 5 days
take regular record of bp morning evening
avoid spicy food + food causing indigestion to u.
after 10 days of medicine contact with regular record of bp

sir serum lipid profile is good marker
other tests r invasive like angiography which probably aren't necessary on current situation
regular walk and light exercise can help to improve circulation and develop collateral circulation for ur Coronary vessels

sir get ur visual acuity checked.
hypertension can cause glaucoma which also causes pressure in eyes.
kindly consult an ophthalmologist after good hypertension control

I want to check blood tests first. to check the causes of hypertension and stomach issues. what about d dimer, venous ultrasound, ferritin etc. hbA1c is ok too

sir in 95% people hypertension is idiopathic (no known reason) at this age v need to treat it to avoid complications.

actually I don't want to start medication before diagnosis as it has side effects. my condition is ok. that's why I want to diagnose and go for it with diet control and lifestyle changes
