salam.. i had gestational diabetes. Now after 2 months of delivery i am still having diabetes. the maximum sugar after two hour of eating is 368 and in fasting its about 268 meanwhile i am having numbness in my feet legs and thumbs of feet and also frequent urination.. my baby is on my breastfeed. kindly suggest any medicine for sugar control. i have attached record of few days.

AOA! What did you use for GDM during pregnancy? Did they give you insulin or just kept u on diet control? You need to start Glucophage at once , Better take 1 gm in the morning and 1 gm in the evening and see the doctor. He has to differentiate your Diabetes as Type 1 or Type 2 as at your age it’s most likely Type 1 and you might need to start with Insulin too. What is your weight?? Better consult an Endocrinologist and a Dietician as soon as possible . Thanks

You have uncontrolled diabetes which needs immediate start of medications for control of diabetes. Patient with Gdm have high chances to develop type 2 diabetes later on.
