Asking For Self, Male, 31 Years old, Rawalpindi
I was diagnosed with COVID-19, 17 days ago. Now I have recovered from it but now I have chest pain and cough. I am still isolated. On the 7th day of isolation, I lost my sense of smell which restored after 3 days. Some doctors said that I can come out of isolation 5 days after sense of smell is restored. Now as I have chest pain and cough, I wanted to confirm if I still have Coronavirus? Or is this chest pain and cough just the after effects of Corona? My chest X-Ray is attached. Thankyou
When was last time fever was recorded.
You can end the isolation as you are fever free for more than a week. But you will have to follow precautionary measures like mask and gloves and hand washing strictly.

Okay. So it means there is still possibility of virus being present in the body?

Yes there is a possibility, so instead of getting yourself tested again. I recommend my patients to wear mask and gloves. European guidelines don't encourage testing again and again.
