Talk to General Physician on Breast Pain

I have this discomfort and pain in one side of the breast. It's been on and off for a long while and I usually ignore it, mostly because I thought it's related to my menstrual cycle and hormons. However, lately the pain has been a bit more apparent. I hurts regardless of the position I'm siting or laying in. And very uncomfortable and painful to touch or press. The pain is in a specific area, not all the breast, and it's been consistent for few days now. Beside the pain and tenderness there are no other symptoms that I came to notice. Could this be just a cyst due to hormonal imbalance or sth? Which specialist should I consult?
