Asking for Mother, Female, 66 years old, Samundri
My mother is siffering from pain in her leg. Most of the times there is swelling on the joint of leg and she cant walk properly. We got her cholestrol report. I am Attaching it. Kindly guide me report is normal or not . It it is not then what precuations are needed to make cholestrol level normal. Thanks in advance
slight increase in colesterol .its better to to have full fasting lipid profile empty stomach of 12 hrs.meanwhile avoid beef ,and egg yolk and use canola or olive oil for cooking

The cholestrol levels are bit raised. Avoid rich diet . Take fat free diet n use olive oil. Get 8 hrs fasting cholestrol levels done

General advice for the patient:
(as already advised),
Avoid fatty food,
Do a little bit of activity (exercise or stretching daily),
Include fruits and vegetables in diet,
Have a healthy diet,
IA it will get better ..
And pain in leg kab se hai? N pain in which joints mostly?
Do u see any visible veins?
She might need a leg ultrasound and general surgeon referral, but can be advised only after seeing the patient..

2 months se above ho gy hen pain ko. It is in the knee of left leg. No visible veins but the whole knee is swollen. We got her checked doc gave her medicine and said to get cholestrol levels done. But She did'nt get better

Please do as already advised by me and all the other Drs in forum; like: lifestyle changes like using olive oil or canola oil..
Avoid red meat(beef) ,use chicken or fish..
Eat more fruits and vegetables..
And full lipid profile repeat test ..

The pain is not due to cholesterol. It is joint problem. Consult orthopedic surgeon.
