Asking for Other, Male, 2 years old, Lahore
Dear sir, My son have squint eye problem since he was born. I checked him in some eye hospital they suggested glasses he is too little he cant wear glasses. Any other treatment if you suggest?
if his squint gets corrected then glasses is the best treatment. otherwise surgery should be done
if someone has given glasses then you must be compliant regarding regular usage and even if we go for surgery after than glasses will be worn .so beter to wear glasses and have regular 3 mnthly followups with serial photographs of squint with and without glasses ..with age if glaases wont work then definitely go for surgical correction

Usually squint in early age can be managed with glasses and it's the most safe treatment. Other options include surgery. For which I need to assess the patient myself to see if he actually needs surgery
The squint may be due to some muscle imbalance which can be corrected by surgery or he may just require glasses. In any case the squint needs to be corrected urgently for your son to develop normal vision. If he is not treated now then he would not be having normal vision in the eye later on. An urgent examination and treatment is recommended. Pl don’t delay
