Talk to Eye Specialist on Vision Problem

I have checked my vision 6 months ago and the doctor told me that you have myopia -1 you have to wear glasses but i don't till date because some time i can see better and sometimes not and whenever i have conversation with someone for a long time i feel like lightheadness and can't focus what the other person is saying and my eyes hurt and i am using laptop too much because of my studies now a days please suggest what should i do because someone told me to not wear glasses as these make your eyes more weaker
