Sore Throat And Cough

Aoa.
My Brother is cancer survivor, He was cleared from hospital some 7 years ago. Now he has Sore Throat(Some White Pimple like structures) and Cough (Dry and Productive both) and no other symptom. Should we go for Covid testing? What are the risk as he is cancer survivor? And What about his immunity, Does he have weak Immune system? What extra steps we should take If he&rsquo;s infected?
