Talk to Ent Specialist on Latest Blood Urine Tests Reports And Adenoids X Rays
Asking for Other, Male, 5 years old, Rawalpindi
Assalamu alaykum.sending Latest blood, urine tests reports,latest adenoids x ray report and few old adenoids x rays of syed asad Ali dob 06 March 2014.suffering from enlarged adenoids tonsills and allergic(may be asthmatic cough). Does child need immediate adenotonsillectomy. Have adenoids swollen in latest adenoids x rays as compared to old x rays done more than a year ago. Files are more. Hence I will have to add remaining files in comments. Kindly advise.

We will be extremely grateful if you kindly advise after comparing latest adenoids x ray and old adenoids x rays that whether adenoids have swollen further in last couple of years or have they decreased in swelling. Actually child gets sick starts snoring has sleep disturbance. We give medicine and get ready for surgery. Then again he becomes fine after recovery. Snoring stops. Sleep becomes normal. So we get confused regarding surgery. Secondly child is allergic and may be asthmatic. So we become doubtful if real problems were due to adenoids or allergies. In case adenoids are really dangerously enlarged and in last year or last 2 years x rays comparisons show that they are swelling more and obstruction in air passage is increasing then we may go for surgery immediately after eid Ul fitar 2019.
adenoids appear enlarged. if symptomatic surgical intervention may help. visit an ENT surgeon to discuss the details

Asad is alhamdulillah absolutely normal nowadays. Sleeps with closed mouth. Eating as well. But he is getting weak. Is it due to adenoids and tonsils?????

Respected sir, compared to old x rays are adenoids more enlarged in latest x ray or have they reduced in size?few weeks ago we had to give him antibiotic azomax course and regularly give myteka for asthmatic allergic cough. BUT his sleep has improved. Now sleeps with closed mouth and snoring reduced. Except when he has allergies asthma type attack of cough. WE got all blood tests x rays done for surgery. Shall we get him operated after eid Ul fitar or wait for few more years.
