Asking For Someone else, Mother, Female, 45 Years old, Quetta
Pt. is experiencing white patches over her back, few days before white circular patch appears on the back of neck , and In past few days few more patches appear over her back, she has no history of taking milk after having fish, she’s diabetic, we are thinking to use topical tacrolimus .. is there any other safer therapy?? Or what oral medications she should take?? Please guide... P.S : I’m attaching pictures too
This is not Vitiligo. Seems like a healing ring lesion (Tinea Corporis. Fungal infection). Apply Travocort cream twice daily for 2 weeks and give Tab Lamisil 250 mg per day for 2 weeks if her liver functions are alright
This is not vitiligo. Looks like an eczema to me. Xerotic eczema
Apply Vaseline to these patches 3 times daily for few weeks regularly.

Dear pt this is more likely tinea (i.e; fungal infection) so tacrolimus would be of no help..
