Talk to Dermatologist on Infection/Swelling On Fingernail

AoA, I have attached a picture of my fingernail and I'm having this swelling from last 3 4 days. it gets swelled over the period of this time. I'm extremely in pain due to this. Please let me know whom should I consult and how can I avoid such infections. it probably appears once in a year after I cut my nails. i used to have such infections on the toe nails before. i have applied quench on this in the last two days, nothing else. thanks!
