Talk to Dermatologist on Hormonal Acne

Asking for Self, Female, 30 years old, Islamabad

I often get one pimple before my periods, on jawline, have previously talked to a dr, she said it's due to hormonal fluctuation and anyone can get it . I just want to ask how can I prevent it from scaring as I get scars easily. Should I use hydrocortisone or retine A, or what so that scaring can be avoided...if I leave it as it is, it normally result in deep scar .

drink 10 glasses of water /day
apply ACSOLVE GEL on pimples at night.
if your skin is oily then use a facewash that controls it.
METAPHIL OS CLEANSER is a good facewash.

If u dont touch ur pimple and dont scratch it.... It wont leave a scar. Even while eqshing face be careful. Deep scar will onky appear if u try to pop out ur pimple. Try to keep ur face dry and avoid scratching.

In a small number of women, they tend to break acne just before the periods. It is then advised to start the anti-acne topical / oral medication for few days at least a week before the periods are due. Hydrocortisone cream may not be used for more then 2/3 days only. Whereas Retin-A is reserved for more severe toe of acne. Please see your Dermatologist to advise you which topical anti-acne preparation is good for your type of skin.
