Talk to Dermatologist on Furunculosis

I consulted a doctor and he diagnosed that I have furunculosis on my right cheek. He advised me to apply fucidin and take Klavox 625 mg twice a day. I don’t think I need to take such heavy medication for one pimple on my face. It’s basically a spot where I get this painful big pimple with pus and blood. Even if i rub my finger over it, it feels like pins and needles. Can you please guide me as to what can be done.
