Talk to Dermatologist on Black Underarm
Asking for Self, Female, 34 years old, Islamabad
I lost my self confidence because of my black underarm. I tried home remedies like lemon and bakingsoda but its not affecting. How can i make it white. Help please. Thank you.

Dark and thick skin of underarm is called Acanthosis Nigricans. It is related to obesity, weight gain, diabetes, Cushing syndrome, hypothyroidism and a few other conditions. There is a treatment of all the above conditions. The dark and itchy arm pits can be due to certain infections. You need to show to a dermatologist for all the above. There is no home remedy.
