Hi. I have plaque deposits on my teeth and when i try to use the brush there to clean it, my gums bleed and the plaque doesn't go away either. The bleeding is minimum and stops almost immediately after i wash my mouth with water. Please suggest what should be my course of action. Also, does flossing helps?
get proper evaluation of the oral cavity from a dentist to check for underlying cause. currently you can take (M/w hi.peradent) rinse atleast twice 5 to 10 minutes after your brush.
you might need professional scaling and polishing to remove those plaque and calculus deposits. and learn from your dentist the proper way of brushing.
Kindly get your scaling/ cleaning done first; in that appointment your dentist should guide you on proper brushing technique, proper flossing and a tooth paste and a mouthwash for bleeding gums. Your problem should be sorted out with this plan of action.
After proper scaling u can get relief from ur problem. Along with dentifrieses and toothpaste. It will become worse if u ignore good scaling. After scaling floss will help u.
Thanks for getting in touch. Scaling and polishing will help your condition. Visit your nearest Dentist for consultation. Regards
Get scaling and polishing done from some qualified dental surgeon, follow the expert's instructions to maintain oral hygiene.
hello, please start to take up your regular scaling polishing sessions every 6-9months
also stack up on vitamin C, for you to continue at home brush twice daily along with regular use of a good mouthwash. Also consider doing oil pulling with coconut oil especially at bed time
See plaque is a layer on your teeth which you can feel every morning.. you brush and it goes away , but if you are unable to clean it properly it becomes hard yellow or green over the period of time which even of you try to remove yourself you wont be able too..and that is a constant irritant to your gums making them bleed on brushing or even cause bad breath.. now flossing wont help.. you need to get scaling done followed by oral hygiene maintainance
Bleeding gums can be a sign of early gum disease which is due to retention of plaque and calculus. You need to visit a dentist at earliest so we can make an apppropriate treatment plan for you.
aoa dear patient . u need scaling u should get an appointment with dentist
you need scaling and polishing
Dear patient u must get an appointment for scaling as soon as possible .
get an appointment for our clinic from Marham. Regards
dear patient. When calculus deposits, you won't be able to remove it with brushing. you will need professional help and I would recommend you to get an appointment for scaling and polishing. Following that, the doctor will assess the condition of your gums and will recommend you the appropriate recall appointments. Flossing is good for teeth that have tight contacts. Flossing once a week is good enough along with brushing your teeth twice a day, everyday.

Its depends on your brushing techniques some times most of the people used aggresive brushing which causes bleeding gums and which stops immediatly after rinses with water. Most of the times these plaque layer become hard and formed a deposition which couldnt be removed from normal brushing . You also asked about flossing yes it definetly helps.
In my opinion you need to consult to your dentist for examination of your teeth and gum conditions.
