Talk to Dentist on Mouth Opening

I have a problem of mouth opening and also had a surgery in July 2020. My OMF Surgeon suggested me to practise with mouth depressor putting between upper n lower teeths. i am following his instructions and even seen various videos on youtube as tutorial. but still problems remains. No progress (If a whole day i practise and reachs out to 9 or 10, Next morning again mouth oprning gets limited and again i start from 5 Depressors)
Suggest me do i change my OmF surgeon Dr or I consult some pyshiotherapist.

Please visit maxillofacial surgeon, for further management they will refer you to a physiotherapist if required.
Needs further evaluation with OPG X-ray or TMJ more in focus , with surgery it should have got better however continue with excercise already advice

It is more related to ur compliance. We do the surgery but patient cooperation and compliance is must in this. Yes you would need a periodic followup with your surgeon. If not satisfied, then take second opinion
Try to adjust to the same regimen. It will take months to improve . still for further can get second opinion from a maxillofacial surgeon

your condition is OSF ( oral submucous fibrosis ) and the treatment you're getting right now is exercise. that helps very little
another options are corticosteroid injections and Surgical option
