Dear Team, please find below picture of my mouth. Since day before yesterday, I felt redness, soreness, hotness and occassional pain in my mouth. Picture is attached for reference.
Kindly let me know what could be the reason to this.
Please note that I have Acid Reflux issue for which I am taking Esso, Gaviscon, and Domel.
For Vit D and other deficiencies I am taking Centrum and Caltrate 600 D3.

Dear Patient, reasons can be multiple from simple cheek ulcer that heals on its own In a couple of weeks just after applying any oral gel, you can use somogel, increase water intake, strict with hygiene but should be gentle while brushing, always use mouthwash mixed in water not in it's conc. Form. Your eating and hygiene habits, and gastro disturbances can also be the cause or it can occur without any cause sometimes. For extreme cases where it doesn't heals or progress, we go for biopsy. Start with conservative treatment. Takecare

Thankyou so much Doctor. Yes I have gastro issues for which I am taking medicines mentioned above. As my acid reflux issue progressed, I realized this irritation has started.
Okay Doctor I will start using somogel and will let you know about the progress of the redness.

In case you smoke, quit it till it heals. Vit C chewable tablets or in any form can boost the healing process

No Doctor. I used to but I have completely stopped smoking since Januaryy this year. Thanks Dr will surely take these tablete as well

Btw Doctor these yellow spots are Fordyce spots, right? They are on both sides of Inner cheeks bordering the gums. They are painless.
