Asking For Father, Male 66, Faisalabad
My father is 66 years old. He used to work out (brisk walk, light exercises) almost daily before he got infected with Covid 19. He used to maintain his workouts during youth too. He was a football player. Now when we check his saturation, its between 94-96 and his heart beat is always 54-57 and rarely 60,61. Never more than that. Is this normal? He usually just do light walk nowadays and is usually in bed. No medical history.
This much of heart rate and saturation is almost normal. Plz share his old record and medications .
please share:
- BP observations 6 hrly. with OMRON digital BP apparatus .
- Temp 6 hrly. with Thermometer.
- CBC
- names of all medicines he is taking
- fasting sugar test
- serum creatinine , electrolytes
Reconfirm his saturation in another device.
adv : ABG, Xraychest , CBC and ECG for further evaluation.

Hi no worry this heart rate is ok, he doing regular exercise. If he have no symptoms like dizziness, blackouts or h/o syncope on this rate so no issue.
its totally normal. don't worry about it :) heart beat greater than 55 is fine specially in people who have a long history of exercising.
