Here are his echo report RV function decreased TAPSE 15mm. E/A < 1 diastolic relaxation dysfunction. LVEF 76%. diastolic dysfunction gr. 1. RA is not dilated. MI mild and TI moderate. How’s the prognosis? And life expectancy? Do most people live a long and good life with this condition? Does surgery is needed for sure?? Is antiplatelet needed for my dad?? Cause the cardiologist didnt give my dad medicine at all
Needs personal evaluation, and proper history and examination, patient are treated on history not on lab,.labs don't make diagnosis but confirm diagnosis.
he should be on at least Aspirin and anti coaglants. surgery I didn't think at this stage. prognosis with AF not sure
Insufficient information, patients needs to be seen in person better to consult nearby cardiologist and discuss all your queries
