Dr. Tahir Shafi graduated from Nishtar Medical College, Multan. He is an American Board certified in internal medicine and nephrology and a fellow of college of physicians and surgeons of Pakistan. He has previously served as a Professor of Nephrology and Chairman of Shaikh Zayed Medical Complex. He has also served as a founding member and president of Pakistan Society of Nephrology. He is a recipient of Sitara-i-Imtiaz by Government of Pakistan for his meticulous services to the field of nephrology in terms of both service and education in Pakistan.
